well i tried it and it did not seem to do much it still crashed right when i was about to get in the game.

All I can suggest is to check to make sure your video card drivers are current and to set your display in game down.......

Hey Sloppy Joe ... Hope this is a fix for you! {ABA}Hellraiser just had the same issue with his game. This happened yesterday and he messaged me for a fix. We tried many scenarios and this was the fix that we got for him. He could not get on to our server because of a general protection fault as well. Very similar/exactly the same error as to what you posted. I ended up getting Hellraiser to uninstall his entire game and save the important files in the system folders to his desktop. Such as the user.ini and ut2004.ini. After the install, I had him delete the entire game folders from his pc. Re-installed a NEW ut2004 game(purchased on the internet - downloaded) and after that {ABA}Hellraiser had no more issues to get on the server. We than put his user info back onto his game for his setting to be as they were. I hope this helps - and I hope to see you again on the server. If you need some help and would like to use skype/msn - I am willing to help!
