The anti cheat system only looks for files that affect you ut2004 game that could be outside of your ut2004 folder and inside your ut2004 folder. It does not store any of your information, that would be ridiculous and could you imagine a data base system required to store that kind of info from everyone who plays, plus the cost involved. So if you are not cheating - you have nothing to worry about! We put the anti cheat on periodically to see who still plays and who cant/gets caught - keeps the server somewhat clean. Best interest for all players involved. The admins will remove and put it on as we see fit to locate any cheaters and keep them off our server so there is no complaints about it!
You are right. It would be ridiculous and not worth the effort really. Good point. Didn't think about it that way. And no. I don't cheat. (Obviously...look at my stats..hehe
) It is , to me, sad that someone would feel the need to cheat at anything. (Well..hmmm.. maybe a hot fudge sundae once in a while..
)... where is the fun in that? Just try harder to be better
. I was just concerned after reading all the info that I have seen about HNK and other anti TCC processes and how they search for and store info. I work in a business where identity theft is commonly run into. It can really suk for someone. So blah blah blah..... I get it. Thanks for setting me strait and watchin out for us. Have a good day.........
