The ABA server seems very touchy lately. Last night it reset 3 or 4 times in a single night, and after the last reset I was the only person to return... everybody else just gave up.
It might be time for a little preventative maintenance on the server. :-/

I have been searching for the reason of this and still coming up with no answer yet. Every time the server starts a new map it looks for the master server to link up to - most often it will find it and than occasionally it will not and then it will continue to cycle over and over looking for that link and than it crashes. It will search for both master servers hoping to link to one or the other. My searches thus far only show that numerous of other servers are having the same issue. I will still be looking until I find an answer. Anyway this is what I am trying to resolve and for inquiring minds it looks like this. Quote: Master server connection failed Attempting to reconnect to master server! Resolving ut2004master2.epicgames.com... MasterServerUplink: Resolved ut2004master2.epicgames.com as 216.27.56.6. MasterServerUplink: Connection to ut2004master2.epicgames.com established. Master server connection failed Attempting to reconnect to master server! Resolving ut2004master1.epicgames.com... MasterServerUplink: Resolved ut2004master1.epicgames.com as 24.199.192.15. MasterServerUplink: Connection to ut2004master1.epicgames.com established. Master server connection failed

is it our equipment that is goofing up or is it the leased equipment that is goofing up? Could it be something in the programming code for the servers that might have gotten hosed? Just random thoughts on this end

Okay this is going to sound crazy, but I've noticed a pattern and I've heard from at least one other player who has seen a similar pattern:
* Order all the bots to hold various positions. * The server resets.
You ought to be able to position your bots, but there's a risk of a server reset if you do apparently.

Aaaaand another reset, on DogTown, exactly at the moment when one of my positioned bots announced "I'm in position."

Have we gotten anything back about information about the bots and the server resets?
I know that I was talking to someone about this in game and asked if there was a patch (or update) ran and someone (I think) mentioned that there was and that the crashes started shortly there after.
One of the possible solutions is ask if the can roll back the server to the previous patch or see if there is something in the coding that has been updated and a new patch to fix the bad one.
Just something that I was thinking about.
